🌿 How does it work?
Each card includes conversation prompts and ideas for shared activities. The questions are designed to encourage discussion, reflection, and exploring emotions—both the child’s and the adult’s. There are no “right” or “wrong” answers here. What matters is the conversation, the laughter, and the time you spend together.
The activities are simple, natural, and require no special preparation. Everything you need can be found at home—or outside, in the forest, on a walk, or on the way to school. This time is meant to be about closeness, joy, and cooperation, not obligation.

In a cozy burrow, somewhere among the roots of an ancient oak that grew deep in the forest, Grandpa Whisker was getting ready for his evening storytelling. The bedtime stories were eagerly awaited by the grandchildren of the mouse grandfather—Squeak and his older sister, Spark. I don’t know if you know this, but forest mice live in enormous underground villages, reached by long tunnels that also connect them to the human world. There are so many tunnels, and they are so long, that you can wander through them all the way to the city of humans, and even to the harbor by the sea. Mouse burrows are warm and connected to one another by short passageways, which is why, on story evenings, children gather from the entire mouse neighborhood. Grandpa Whisker’s home is a large burrow that can hold a great many mouse children. Every evening Grandma Whisker prepared sweet cookies for the whole group, and Grandpa Whisker lit the fire in the fireplace and turned on the old lamp. When the cheerful flames lit up the smiling children’s faces, Grandpa would sit down in his armchair and begin his tales.
Grandpa’s stories were never the same, which is why the children couldn’t wait for the next one. When he finally settled comfortably into his armchair, complete silence would fall among the children, and then he would begin his story:
“I will tell you today an interesting story about where the oak beneath which our burrow lies came from. Believe me, it is an extraordinary story!”
