FRAGMENT KSIĄŻKI
AWAKENING
1010
in spite of everything
the Sun still shines
the planets rotate
born on one
we're being mixed
more and more
in various skin colours
this planet spins global brain
through crazier times
and rising troubles
we still move closer
toward deep changes
to the ten billionth human being
to the Earth’s final awakening
YOUR AWAKENING!!
you drowsy globe
shout!!
as louder and clearer
you can
let the universe know
_I AM THE BEST!!!_
but prior to that
give us
one more chance
for revival
otherwise
we all be doomed to fail
FIREBALL
(YLEM)
like micro particles
we've been brought
all together
from the Big Bang
the lords of darkness
didn’t allow us
to choose the galaxy
when and where
was so hidden from us
we’ve only overheard
there will be no wars
only peace and freedom
that will flow
through our short lives
worthy fireball
that fiery kindness
MARATHON
in front of us
it looks
like a great long racetrack
as though created for us
runners and pickers
of one time opportunities
to whom
and when
this marathon creates
a challenge
of walks
through colourful landscapes
and we don't run alone
there are many billions of us
who race around this track
eager
to reach the finish
hidden far behind
some of us suddenly stop at the start
most of us somewhere in the middle
only a few of us come to the end
of this track
when the race is over
forever and ever
amen
CRUISE
it's raining
and the whole of life is asleep
the night runs in a flash
the morning is arriving
time that clock rings
time that my mind wakes up
under a natural spring
begin flow in the stream
and sail down the river
to the wide arms of the sea
I raise anchor
of a rested yacht
I start up the engines
ready for new games
with more excitement and victories
I set off for miles
and the big waves of challenges
occasionally throw the yacht off course
time to save myself and return it back
quickly to the right track
the seagulls fly around the sky
in the rhythm of the salty wind
full of joy
I salute them from the deck
during a well-deserved break
the yacht masts sway
in the flow
of endlessly oceans
while under their depths
all eternity dwells
back to port
to moor my yacht
I am ready for another night
to rest from today's cruise
and sail away in some other dreams
YOU!!
You!! Only not you!
always step forward
like a heartless coward
you break all the life’s rules
how am I supposed to play on?
You!! Only not you!
don't like me so much
make my future
uncertain
how then to skip these days?
You!! Only not you!
put me in trouble
so easily
lying on the wire
how then to save myself?
You!! Only not you!
who found me and surrounds me
you are nothing but a smart ass
how to get ahead of you
and to beat you at least once?
TIME
the minutes are rolling
like billiard balls
falling into a dark tunnel
disappearing into the fog
clouds pass in the sky
not aware how quick
they carry the hours away
to the Great Nothing
unresolved problems
still circulate in my head
days become years
easily thrown to the wind
why then am I still losing time
on bad events
bad people
and bad signs?
so when the right moment arrives
I'll have to be ready
to grab every second
for nobody but meABOUT THE AUTHOR
Bright River. It's him and his artistic name.
_BRIGHT_ because his name in his mother language means brightness and serenity.
_RIVER_ because he was born in the place called River, located on the coast of the most beautiful sea in the world. He didn't want to use his family name which means one of the Greek gods, one of the planets of the solar system, as well as one of the chemical elements strong enough to destroy the whole world. Completely opposite to that he is very engaged in environmental friendly things such as energy efficiency and renewable energy. As a matter of fact he gained PhD in that field and issued over 50 articles around the globe.
He issued his first book of poems several years ago (under not-artistic name), but for now is only available in his mother language.
This is his second book with poems that are optimistic, pessimistic and something between called neutral. The book begins with more pessimistic and neutral poems, but ends optimistically, with love, dreams, inspiration, courage, attempts, sun, water, a window to the World, pride and health. The poems in this book express a battle of optimism against pessimism, while the neutral poems are here to mitigate this fight. It's like travelling through Dante's inferno, purgatory to paradise.
