Notes
Visit openhanddrums.com - Check for UPDATED LINKS for audio/video captures of the entire book.
In Books 1-5, The High-Hat Foot Responsibilies have stayed mostly dormant; besides two subdivided 1/8th note High-Hat Disco/Light Rock Swish Motif Exercises.
The reason is due to the Author's belief; Too many coordinated responsibilities added on top of the Core Concept (Ambidextrous Fluidity between Right/Left Hands), will ultimately be a distraction to the Core Concept.
Open Hand Beginner-Adv High-Hat Studies Will Be the Theme of Book-6 In This Series.
*The Author Uses the Term "Performance Integration" to describe a drummer combining percussion such as Cowbell/Agogo Tambourine etc... live; while simultaneously playing required drum-set beat.
In the Studio, The extra percussive "feel" is usually recorded on a separate track.
